◉ “I know we’re in a playoff spot, but I believe we can push further up” was the message from Queens Park Rangers winger Albert Adomah after his side drew 0-0 with Swansea in midweek to make it five league games without a loss (W4). That successful run has contributed to the promotion hopefuls accumulating 48 points after 27 matches - their best return at this stage since the 2013/14 campaign when they won promotion via the playoff final!

◉ Although they come into this round of matches having scored the fourth-highest number of goals across the division (40), it’s been QPR’s defence that has impressed recently as their total of three goals conceded across their past five league matches is a joint-league low. Their last two efforts to find the net came in the second half, yet notably at home this has usually been the period in which they’ve been at their most robust, conceding just four second-half home league goals all season.

Again in contrast to their hosts, shipping goals has been their biggest vulnerability, highlighted by the fact that just one Championship side has conceded more than their total of 51 so far.
